Pick up Friday after 4 PM, return by Monday 8 AM, pay $225. That's the whole thing. It exists because the trailer would otherwise sit in our yard all weekend, and because Saturday morning is when the big rental yards are already picked over or closed.

I'm pulling out sod — how much will fit?

A 7×14 holds about 9 cubic yards heaped, but sod is heavy and wet sod is heavier. You'll hit the 14,000 lb weight limit long before you fill it visually. Load it about half full and make a second trip rather than overloading — an over-GVWR load isn't covered by the damage waiver and it's genuinely dangerous on the highway.

Westminster is seven miles west of us, well inside our flat-rate delivery zone, and it's one of the areas where the weekend rate gets used most.

A lot of Westminster is mature 1970s–1990s housing with established landscaping that's reaching the end of its life — juniper beds that have to come out, railroad-tie retaining walls that are rotting, sod being replaced with xeriscape as water rates climb. Those are classic weekend projects, and they produce a surprising amount of debris.

Our weekend rate runs Friday 4 PM to Monday 8 AM for $225 — less than two day rentals for what is realistically a two-and-a-half-day window. If you're doing a yard overhaul, that's the one to take.
